Who the heck are you, anyway?
My name is Joe Schwartz, also known as Joe Rollerfan by the derby community. I've been hooked on roller derby ever since seeing the Rat City Rollergirls in 2005, and it wasn't long before I tried photographing them. Since then, I've shot more than 300 bouts and over 80 different teams, and it's still an adrenaline rush.I created this calendar for a simple reason: I want to infect the world with roller derby. My hope is that you'll use this calendar to expose more people to our wonderful sport. Just hang it where new fans-to-be can see it, and wait for them to ask, "Whoa, what is that?!?"
